The Northeast Marble Meet is held at the Radisson Hotel (formerly the Crowne Plaza hotel) in Cromwell Connecticut.

The Radisson is located to the left of the ramp for Exit 21 on I-95. The GPS address is 100 Berlin Road, Cromwell CT 06416.

You can make a reservation for the show at the discounted room rate by clicking here.

A discounted room rate of $99 per night is available if you make your reservation prior to September 21, 2016 and mention the Marble Meet. The discounted rate will not be available after that date. I have blocked 50 guest rooms each on Friday and Saturday night for the Marble Meet. Please keep in mind that a lot kids' hockey and soccer tournaments are held on Columbus Day weekend. If you wait and the Marble Meet room block is filled, then you may not be able to reserve a room at the hotel, so make your reservation early so  you won't be disappointed. There are a Quality Inn and Super 8 next to the hotel, if you wait too long. Don't wait too long. Several collectors had to stay at the Quality Inn in 2015 because they waited too long to make their reservation.

I have reached an agreement with the hotel that all those who reserve their room through the Marble Meet block will be placed on the 2nd floor. The rooms on the 2nd floor of the hotel are set up in a U shape, with elevators at the upper end of the left leg of the U. One of the lessons we learned from the 2015 show was that those collectors and dealers who intend to sell out of their room (leaving their door open for room hopping), like to be on that leg that is by the elevator. To accomodate this in 2016, we are creating a "Marble Mall" on that elevator corridor of the floor. I will go through the reservation list with the hotel staff after September 21 and identify those guests who I know sell out of their room, so that they can all be placed in a room in the "Marble Mall". This will make it easier for shoppers as well. If you are planning on selling out of your room, drop me an Email and I'll ensure that you are in the "Marble Mall" block of rooms. All other participants will be placed in rooms on the other two legs of the U, so that they are not disturbed by noise from the shoppers.

The hotel is located 12 miles south of downtown Hartford, 25 miles south of Bradley International Airport, 6 miles east of the Berlin Amtrak train station. It is 45 minutes from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

There are numerous restaurants within a mile or so east and west of the hotel (as well as the restaurant and bar at the hotel), along Route 372, including Ninety-Nine, Chili's, Ruby Tuesday, Friendly's, Baci, Oyama, several pizzerias, several Subways and all major fast food chains. There are also a Walmart and a Super Stop & Shop less than 1 mile from the hotel.

I highly recommend the Cromwell Diner, which is a right turn out of the hotel parking lot and then less than a mile down the road on the left. Nardelli's Grinder Shop is also an excellent choice. It's on the right hand side just before the Cromwell Diner.

The hotel is in central Connecticut, so when driving to the Meet from South or West, you can completely avoid Fairfield County (I-95 and Rt. 15). The best route from that direction is to come east on I-84, exit onto I-691 eastbound, exit onto I-91 northbound and continue north 2 exits to Exit 21. The hotel is 57 miles from the intersection of I-684 and I-84 in Brewster NY. It is 88 miles southwest of the old location in Marlborough MA.

The hotel's website is here.

Here's a link that lists things to do (other than marble collecting) in the central Connecticut area.
